Conference Program

The North American Society of Adlerian Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The North American Society of Adlerian Psychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

The North American Society of Adlerian Psychology is approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors to sponsor continuing education, ACEP #5263.

The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association has approved the NASAP conference for CEs for those with a counselling or related credential according to their established guidelines.

Thursday June 1 - Self-Care and Community-Care Day

The sessions scheduled for this day are designed to be interactive and fun (and still CE eligible as well). The sessions start at 8:30 AM and end at 4:30 PM. Below is a link to the PDF list of sessions to choose from for Thursday. Each session will last 90 minutes - choose 4 to create a full day or choose 2 for half a day.

Thursday Evening - Ansbacher Lecture

The traditional kick-off of the Annual Conference is the Ansbacher Lecture. The session starts at 7:00 PM and will be followed by a reception.

At 7:00 PM, John Newbauer opens the conference with the Ansbacher Lecture - “Everything Can Always Be Different: From Clinical Observation to Lifelong Motif” (CE eligible)

A reception with light hors d’oeuvres will follow the lecture.

Friday June 2 - General Conference Sessions

The main two-day conference starts today with sessions starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 4:45 PM.

Saturday June 3 - General Conference Sessions and Poster Session Happy Hour

The day begins with a Keynote Plenary Session with Torrey Wilson from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. General sessions resume at 9:15 AM. The unique-to-NASAP tradition of Open Forum Family Demonstration will be held 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM. The general sessions end at 5:30 PM. The Poster session starts at 6 PM and attendees can converse with poster presenters while enjoying a beverage.
